another dimension to the stud farm, creating a harmony between hoofed animals and feathered friends! Not to mention, becoming
an unfettered breeding place for birds as well. And perhaps, as a happy coincidence, also fulfilling another
passion of Mr. Dhunjibhoy’s, who was instantly drawn to birds when he first visited Africa in the year 2000. Since then, he has
made several visits to this wild continent to satisfy his love and appreciation for birds and other wild animals. Mr. Dhunjibhoy’s
sister, Jasmine is a bird lover and has contributed to this aspect of Nanoli farm life.
Not only that, Mr. Dhunjibhoy has commissioned a bird lover and photographer, Mr. Arvind Patole, from the neighboring city of
Pune, to photograph and catalogue the bird population on the farm. This, Arvind has so lovingly done and it is evident from the
beautiful images in this book. So far, almost 60 species of birds have been photographed and documented.
